# Koi is now Peeknext

I have brought both Hackerman and Koi together under Peeknext.

This means that:

- github.com/hackermanai is now [github.com/peeknext](https://github.com/peeknext)
- x.com/koieditor is now [x.com/peeknext](https://x.com/peeknext)

The same ++ logo will be used everywhere.

The parent company and the product will now share the same brand identity.

Hackerman research pages and license recovery will eventually get their own home on [peeknext.com](https://peeknext.com).

**Koi Editor will become Peeknext. Nothing about the editor itself changes as part of the rename.**

## Why Peeknext

A `peeknext` function in a lexer lets you look at the next character or token in the input stream without consuming it or advancing past it.

## Why ++

The `++` operator increments a value, moving it forward by one.
For Peeknext, it represents exactly that: moving to what comes next.
